Coronation Street fans work out Daniel Osbourne’s shocking plan after Daisy Midgeley discovery
CORONATION Street fans have worked out Daniel Osbourne's shocking plan after discovering Daisy Midgeley's secret.
Wednesday's episode of the ITV soap saw Daniel finally learn that his fiancee slept with Ryan Connor.
Ryan had accidentally filmed a chat between him and Daisy, where they discussed their steamy romp a couple of months ago.
They were interrupted by Simon Barlow, who noticed a change in the pair following his arrival, before he clocked the video camera.
Later, Daniel was visiting dad Ken, he received a text from Simon which included the video confession, revealing all to the horrified teacher.
Daniel asked: "So he doesn't know you have seen it? Why did you watch it?

Simon replied: "They were acting suspicious when I came in. I saw his phone was still recording and thought there was something worth checking out on it."
Piecing things together, Daniel said: "I bet he was at that hotel that night, one of the times. I can't think straight, I still can't believe she has done this to me."
He then said he wanted to kill Ryan, but when he later saw him in the street, he kept quiet.
But Coronation Street viewers think they have worked out a major twist to come in the storyline.

Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one wrote: "And that's the point Daniel, you're engaged. Before you go any further or go ahead with the wedding and play the video in the church before the vows and enjoy the good riddance reception later."
Another added: "Daniel should have played the video in the bistro on Christmas day !"
Revenge is certainly on the cards in some capacity if a recent interview with show boss Iain MacLeod is anything to go by.
He said: "There's lots of really tense sequences where Daniel starts to put the pieces together, we see a slight revisiting of some of Daniel's darkness, not quite to the extent of him pushing anyone down the stairs this time.
"But actually [with] Daniel, what we do know about him, is that when pushed into an emotional corner, there's a switch that goes.
"He is capable of doing some fairly underhand and fairly classically dark things.
"So we'll see flashes of that and some excellent manipulations on his part to try and distance Ryan from Daisy as quickly and as far apart as possible."
Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
