Lorraine Kelly threatens to quit ITV show and says ‘I’ll get my coat’ after Ben Shephard is told off by Susanna Reid
LORRAINE Kelly threatened to quit her ITV daytime show in an unexpected moment live on air.
The Scottish presenter's comments came as a chat with Good Morning Britain anchor Ben Shephard, 48, went wrong.
Lorraine, 64, was proudly set to tell a "really bad" Christmas cracker joke as she gave her daily preview of her chat show.
She asked Ben and co-host Susanna Reid, 52: "Why does Santa have three gardens?"
Yet before she could get the punchline out, Ben quipped: "It's because he's got a hoe hoe hoe."
Lorraine was left stunned as she said: "You've ruined - I'll get my coat," - threatening to quit her show because of the interference in her joke.

Susanna, equally stunned, told Ben off and said: "It's not a quiz."
Referring to his other ITV show, she added: "You're not on Tipping Point."
Defending himself, Ben added: "You forgot to tell me it's not a quiz.
"I am proud of myself for getting it so quickly."
Lorraine then went on to re-tell the joke with no interruptions.
Meanwhile, Tipping Point's return date was recently revealed after fans fumed at the show's absence.
