Furious I’m A Celeb viewers complain to ITV after ‘disrespectful’ Sam Thompson moment in camp
I'M A Celebrity viewers were left fuming last night after Fred Sirieix took a cruel swipe at campmate Sam Thompson.
The French chef, 51, was branded "overpowering" and "rude" by fans of the ITV hit after he bulldozed his way into doing the task, and shut down Sam in the process.
When it came time for the camp to decide who would take on tonight's Fly On The Wall bushtucker trial, Fred didn't wait for his fellow stars to speak before putting himself forward.
"I'll go with Marvin, he said without waiting for anyone else to talk.
Fred then got up and sat next to Marvin and declared that he was doing the trial, even before they could do a vote.
Fred then told Sam: "You stay here and play with your toys," which left the ex-Made in Chelsea star looking deflated.

Many were unhappy with the remark and branded it "uncalled for" and "disrespectful".
One unhappy viewer wrote: "Sam looks so upset, he was only saving an argument saying that he doesn’t care who does the trial, the fact that Fred said that Sam wants to play with his little toys is horrible."
A second commented: "It was uncalled for wasn’t it, poor Sam."
"Fred patronising Sam telling him to “play with his toys” what a p****," a third said.
A fourth shared: "As much as Sam annoys me with his sometimes childish behaviour, I really think that was way out of order. Fred actually hurt his feelings."
This angry viewer said: "What Fred said to Sam about playing with his toys whilst they do the men's stuff was uncalled for, Sam didn't deserve that, the bloke has managed to turn the whole country around on their opinion of him in a few short days, used to love him, now can't stand him."
Another added: "'You play with your toys and we’ll do the men’s stuff' no f****** need, can see that really upset Sam."
This viewer echoed: "Sam looked heart broken that Fred went with Marvin. I really don’t like Fred."
It comes after he did the exact same thing last night, bulldozing his way into the Celebrity Distressing Rooms trial without letting alone else express the desire to do it.
Danielle Harold and Josie Gibson both look unimpressed, while Tony Bellew told Fred to "chill", something he also said to him after the exact same scenario played out last night.
But when Sam expressed the desire to do the trial with Marvin Humes, Fred didn't listen.
"I'm happy to do it and want to bring some stars back for the team," Sam said, while Fred looked unimpressed.
"I can see you don't want to go, don't worry I am going," Fred shot back.
He then added: "Sorry Sam, you can carry on playing with your toys. We are going to do the men's stuff."

Sam then looked sad as he chatted in the bush telegraph.
"I'm not going to argue about it, " Sam admitted. "I don't have a backbone."
