NETFLIX has renewed a major reality show for a second season despite contestants suffering 'horror injuries'.
The streaming giant has green lit another series of Squid Game: The Challenge.

Soon after dropping on Netflix last month it quickly became the most-watched series on the platform.
Announcing its return, Netflix's vice president said: "There was no red light in our decision to greenlight season two of Squid Game: The Challenge, the most ambitious unscripted show we've premiered at Netflix."
Brand Reigg added: "We're so excited to continue the franchise of Squid Game with our team in Korea, and producers at Studio Lambert and The Garden for this epic competition series."
Squid Game has ranked in the top 10 in over 93 countries on Netflix.

The show is based off of the 2021 drama thriller which saw contestants compete in child-like games for a cash prize.
However, the challenge had deadly consequences with each game lost resulting in death.
The game show follows a near identical format, without the fatalities with a whopping $4.56million (£3.61million) up for grabs.
However, The Sun exclusively revealed how some of the 456 contestants are set to sue over their ordeals.

They have now instructed lawyers claiming they did not know they would be risking their health by crouching motionless for long periods in cold temperatures.
One of the injured claimants says she suffered hypothermia, and another saw his hands go purple.
Applications for the second series are now open as the finale of series one drops today.
Meanwhile, one contestant previously revealed how bosses had cut 'ugly' scenes from the show during the elimination process.
