EMMERDALE star Danny Miller has quit social media after being fat-shamed by trolls.

The Dales star, 32, hit back at followers after he was branded “fat” and “chubby” on his X, formerly Twitter, page, before deleting the account altogether.

Shortly before he ditched X, he wrote on the platform: “Say what you want about Aaron. He’s fictional, I play what I’m told to play.

“But please don’t think commenting about ‘Danny’ being ‘fat’ or ‘chubby’ will EVER bother me.

“I’m sat eating a greasy kebab AND a pizza, laughing at you whilst gulping a FULL FAT COKE you b****nds [crying laughing emoji].”

Danny recently returned to the Dales after a two-year break.

The actor accomplished a lot both personally and professionally in his time away.

He won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! when it relocated to Wales amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He also had two children with his wife Steph – Albert and Edith.

Speaking to about his recent return to soapland which coincided with Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary, he said: “I owe it all to Steph. I am so lucky. My return to Emmerdale has been made so much easier because she is so incredible.

“I am loving being back at Emmerdale but the days can be long sometimes and I can return home feeling very knackered!”
