I'M A Celebrity fans are convinced that Ant and Dec secretly "hate" Fred Sirieix after spotting a huge clue in last night's interview.

First Dates star Fred became the third contestant to face the boot, following Frankie Dettori, who was first out on Sunday, and Nella Rose, who was given her marching orders on Monday night.

But before he crossed the famous bridge, Fred sat down with show hosts Ant and Dec to give them a debrief from his time in camp.

"It's like another life really," Fred said as he reflected on his time in the jungle with hosts Ant and Dec, just seconds after being evicted.

"I found it quite easy because I really prepared myself mentally," he said. "When I did the challenges I found it quite easily actually because I was very focused."

But some fans spotted the Geordie presenters grilling the star, especially over his "feud" with This Morning's Josie Gibson.

One fan said: "Ant and Dec kind of showing they didn't like Fred in that interview, glad they weren't overly friendly with him. Gone right off him."

A second said: "Even Ant & Dec clearrrrrly hate Fred. Everyone in the camp clearly hate him too. All Fred has is the menopausal geriatric divorcees on Facebook, and Nigel."

While during last night's Fly on the Wall trial, where Fred and Marvin Humes faced, fans were quick to comment: "'Only one of them has to talk, I wonder who that’s gonna be’ even Ant & Dec are sick of Fred omg."

This person said: "How long till Fred tells Ant & Dec to shut up while he’s speaking..."

Someone else commented: "I love Ant & Dec constantly making digs at Fred. He is genuinely so disgustingly arrogant and rude."

Another added: "Fred really must be awful for Ant & Dec to be making these comments."

The hosts were keen to dig deeper on Fred's feud with Josie.

When quizzed about his reluctance to let Josie Gibson cook in camp, he explained: "Yeah, because she doesn't know what she does in the kitchen, she just makes it up as she goes along."

Fred claimed she didn't plan the meals well enough so they had enough leftovers.

He added: "You really need the calories, I think we missed out on a good few meals."

Asked about his tricky relationship with Nigel Farage, Fred claimed he hadn't changed his opinion on the politician.

He revealed: "It was great in the camp because Nigel is a doer and I am a doer, but there is a side of Nigel Farage that I cannot connect with and will never connect with."

Fred has received quite a lot of backlash from some viewers for 'taking over' the trials when the camp had to decide who took them on.

Tonight, many took to social media after he suggested Sam Thompson wasn't 'man' enough to take part in the Fly On The Wall task with Marvin.

But Fred defended himself, insisting he was entitled to do the trials for the last two nights.

"I think because I wasn't voted by the public to do any trials, I think it was fair, I put myself forward. It was pre-agreed [with the camp]."
