ANT and Dec have made a less than subtle swipe at I'm A Celeb stars who are avoiding bushtucker trials.

When talking about those who have been taking time off the reality show for health reasons, the comedic duo made a joke insinuating that some people might be exaggerating illnesses as an excuse to give challenges a miss.

Cheeky Ant McPartlin asked Dec to 'do him' while re-enacting one of Tony Bellew's trials.

The funnyman protested: "No, I can't do it, I've got a bad back."

Ant responded sarcastically: "Sorry everyone, Dec's been ruled out of this joke on medical grounds!"

Their wisecrack comes after two celebs made a shock exit from the jungle citing health issues.

Restaurant critic Grace Dent left the ITV reality programme after a run of horror trials.

A spokesperson explained: "Unfortunately Grace has left the show on medical grounds.

"She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

Jamie Lynn Spears also quit I'm A Celeb on medical grounds after breaking down in tears several times on the show.

Britney's sister struggled in the camp when she first arrived because she missed her kids so much.

The actress threatened to walk a number of times before eventually being discharged.

Even before the two sudden exits, viewers had been complaining about campmates being made exempt from Bushtucker Trials on doctor's orders.
