Some of the I'm A Celebrity audience were left fuming as they wanted to see more of their favourite campmate.

Social media users took to X - formerly known as Twitter in their droves to express their anger.

One fan asked: "ImACeleb why is nigel farage getting no airtime today come on ITV he brings entertainment we want to watch him more."

"ImACeleb where’s Nigel tonight?", enquired a second user.

And a third declared: "Shame on you ITV. No airtime for Nigel? #ImACeleb"

But other users liked the fact that other stars were shown more on-screen instead of the broadcaster.

One fan remarked: "I’ve loved the lack of Nigel in this episode. #ImACeleb."

A second echoed: "Nigel didn't get his 25% of airtime tonight and I'm all for it #ImACeleb."

As a third added:"The nigel fans in the comments fuming about his lack of air time 😂😂😂 i can't even say anything because i was the same when they were sleeping on danielle. the editors really do play God with this. #ImACeleb"

The former UKIP politician became the "highest paid" star in I'm a Celebrity history when he entered the jungle.

It was previously reported Nigel was paid a staggering £1.5m for his stint in the jungle.

This is significantly more than the former highest paid star, presenter Noel Edmonds, who was paid £600k in 2018.

On top of this, Nigel also previously expressed his strong desire to compete in the Bushtucker Trials so he can appear to more people.

He previously stated food critic Grace Dent: "If you do the challenges, it's 25% of the airtime. I'm looking at reaching a whole new audience."
