THIS Morning was thrown into chaos as an out-of-control Grinch threw Christmas tree at hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
The popular character, made famous by author and cartoonist Dr. Seuss, was invited onto the show to appear in multiple segments.
However, as Alison, 48, and Dermot, 50, tried to present Friday's edition (01 December) of This Morning, chaos ensued from the get-go.
The world famous character of The Grinch was visiting from Universal Orlando and he first stepped into the shot as he carried a tree in the opening scenes.
He then held it upside down and shook off the baubles before he threw the bush towards the pair of hosts.
But as the show went on, the green character made sure to seemingly throw the studio into a panic with his antics.

During the phone-in, as viewers called into the programme with their Christmas dilemmas, there was one incident where the programme went awry.
The Grinch seemed to get so offended during the segment, he jokingly got up from his seat at the marble table and proceeded to 'air slap' both of the pair in disgust
But things soon got worse for the show as the Grinch then proceeded to seemingly 'hijak' the fashion runway.
Once the green character strutted his stuff in his Christmas scarf and jumper, he decided to violently gyrate and perform a 'sl** drop' at the end of the platform.

Some fans seemed to bizarrely think that the character could even be former presenter Phillip Schofield in disguise.
One fan stated: "I swear The Grinch is Philip Schofield 🙈 #thismorning."
A second user asked: "This Morning is the grinch Phillip Schofield 😉."
"I'm sure that grinch is Philip Schofield getting his revenge 😉," suggested a third.
And a fourth viewer echoed: "Should have got Schofield to play The Grinch #ThisMorning."
