A BRAVE Deal or No Deal contestant had fans in floods of tears as he opened up about his life-altering health condition.

Brad was chosen to test his luck and see if he could bag himself some cash on the ITV reboot.

It was clear from the get-go that Brad was more determined than most to win himself one of the top prizes, particularly after confessing to be "skint" with just a few pence in the bank.

However, the star went onto get even more candid as he opened up to host Stephen Mulhern about his everyday battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

As he opened up about what he planned to spend any winnings on, Brad floored Stephen with his heart-wrenching confession.

He said:  “Last year, things changed quite a lot for me really, I was diagnosed with motor neurone disease…”

Brad's voice began to falter as he welled up discussing the condition.

He continued: “I never cry when I talk about it normally… So the prognosis isn’t really that great.

“So I’d put it towards my bucket list, go and see different places around the world, and give my family and partner some money before… yeah.”

Stephen went onto ask if the player had made a bucket list as a result of him only having a limited amount of time before his condition took over.

“Don’t get me wrong, Stephen Hawking lived for 55-years - do you know what I mean? But the average is, like, a few years.”

His co-stars were seen wiping away tears from their face as Brad's mum sat in the audience looking on.

As the game progressed, Brad appeared to be in a great position with many of the 'big red's' - £25,000, £50,000 and £75,000 - still in play.

With his odds looking good, Brad opted not to make a deal with the Banker.

However when it emerged that £5 could also be his amount of winnings, tension in the studio reached fever pitch.

The game ended in disaster when poor Brad walked away with the measly fiver.

Fans took to X - formerly Twitter - to remark on what one described as the "saddest ever" episode in history.

Another added:  "That has got to be one of the saddest Deal or No Deal's I have seen. Poor Brad. #DealOrNoDeal.”

As a third penned: "#DealOrNoDeal Brad deserved so much more, really unlucky guy I hope his life goes better in the future."

Brad has left viewers stunned earlier in the week when he made a rather surprise bedroom confession about sleeping with a goat.

Whilst one contestant also got loose lipped and spilled all the secrets on what goes down at the ITV hotel.
