Iconic nineties pop group’s TV series finally hits BBC iPlayer – whipping fans into a frenzy
FANS of pop group S Club have been left delighted as the band's iconic nineties TV show has finally resurfaced on BBC iPlayer.
The pop sensations had their very own TV show on the CBBC Channel in 1999 in which they played a fictional portrayal of themselves as they headed to Miami in the US.
Aptly titled Miami 7, the programme featured the seven S Club members - Hannah Spearritt, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, and Jon Lee - as they headed out to the States with dreams of making it big.
While they hoped to replicate the success they had in the UK across the pond, the programme saw the band working in a hotel as entertainment for holidaymakers.
Having been largely untraceable for over 20 years, viewers were ecstatic to discover that the show had finally been uploaded to BBC iPlayer to watch once again.
Writing on X - formerly Twitter - an official fan site for the group told fans: "Miami 7 has been added to BBC Player."

Before a third commented: "Ooo that’s good to know been dying to rewatching this."

As someone else said: "What!!!!! Best news ever!!!!!"
It comes hot off the heels of their recent reunion tour as well as the untimely death of Paul and band member Hannah quitting the group thereafter.
The band went on to film three further editions of the programme, all similar in premise but set in a new location.
Hollywood 7, LA 7 and Viva S Club saw them on the box right up until 2002.
Miami 7 is now streaming in full on BBC iPlayer.
