Strictly’s Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola continue to fuel romance rumours with telltale comment about her family

STRICTLY star Ellie Leach has further fuelled romance rumours with her pro partner Vito Coppola.

Viewers have watched as the former Coronation Street actress, 22, has grown close to the professional dancer.

During Saturday's episode the pair put on a sexy show as they performed the Argentine Tango to Destiny's Child track Bills, Bills, Bills.

As the intimate dance took place fans were convinced the stars 'almost kissed' on the ballroom floor.

While it was hard to tell for certain given the cameras angles, speculation was rife on social media.

But as Strictly viewers are hoping Ellie and Vito become an item, it seems he's a hit with her parents.

Speaking to host Claudia Winkleman during Sunday's results show, Ellie said her dad "loves" the Italian dancer.

She said: "My dad is usually a man of few words and he rarely shows any emotion but every week he messages me and is like 'so proud of you, crying again' like welling up.

"And he's just been so amazing and such support, it's been nice to know that I'm making him proud."

Ellie added: "He loves Vito."

Vito then told viewers: "I love Ellie's family because you know, we exchange cooking recipes and I say like 'ok, show me how you do the gravy and the mash potato and I'll tell you how to do pasta."
