I’m A Celebrity’s Nella Rose beats Nigel Farage as screen time results are revealed

ITV telly luvvies have been up in arms about the amount of screen time they were giving to Nigel Farage thanks to his cheeky onscreen antics.

But it turns out it’s actually YouTuber Nella Rose who has got the most screen time.

In the first four days of shows, Nella has racked up 63 minutes on screen – compared to Nigel’s 57 minutes.

The Sun revealed this week that tensions were rising among the I’m A Celeb crew over the amount of time being dedicated to the former UKIP boss.

One source said: “Nigel’s political views are at odds with many working on I’m A Celeb – but he’s the best character in the jungle by far.

“Giving him so much screen time may be the last thing some of the crew want to do but Nigel is too good not too.

“The crew are feeling torn. They’re all professionals and everyone can recognise Farage makes great telly, but of course many harbour their own opinions on Brexit and immigration.

“And on a wider level it’s left bosses with somewhat of a dilemma - embrace Farage as the star of the show or stay conscious of the outcry over his casting and limit his airtime.”

Last night, a show spokesperson said: “It is always our intention to broadcast a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in camp for all our celebrities.”

Nella Rose has attracted attention by engaging Farage in conversation around immigration as well as taking part in a number of Bushtucker Trials.

And she landed herself in hot water after launching a bizarre grudge against Fred over a comment he meant about “being her dad”.
