CORONATION Street's Peter Barlow took desperate measures against the teen bullies tonight - but it quickly backfired.
The character - played by Chris Gascoyne - has been having a tough time in recent weeks ever since he knocked down and killed murderer Stephen Reid.
Tonight, he went on a rampage after son Simon revealed a box of vapes he planned to sell had been stolen from the back of his car.
Simon had been distracted by teen bully Mason, who led him away with a lie that he had dropped his phone down a drain, while Dylan ran in and took the box.
Peter managed to find out that Dylan had sold a vape to Max's friend, and barged round to Eileen's house to confront the teen.
Spotting Dylan and Mason through the letterbox, Peter kicked the door in and grabbed Dylan by the back of his coat while Mason scarpered.
Peter insisted he had stolen them and demanded to see them, before Eileen, George, Sean and Gary rushed into the house and asked what on earth was happening.
Despite Peter's insistence, he had to admit Simon hadn't actually seen Dylan take them, so didn't have concrete proof against him.
Gary managed to convince Peter to leave, and after questioning his son and searching his room but failing to find any vapes - because Dylan had hid them in the bin outside - Sean went round to see Peter.
The irate factory worker raged at Peter for his behaviour and threatened to call the police.
He was only stopped by Peter's wife Carla, who came in during the confrontation.
Carla begged Sean not to go to the police considering what Peter had been through already, and he agreed.
After he had gone, Carla railed at her husband for his behaviour and asked what was going on, only for Peter to start sobbing and admit he wasn't coping after murdering Stephen, despite him being a serial killer.
Coronation Street viewers took to X - formerly Twitter - to discuss Peter's actions.
One wrote: "I can't wait for Peter to leave, f*****g p***k!
Another added: "Really can't stand Peter."
A third tweeted: "Peter bullying kids now! Wow what a new low."
