Shock exit for Ryan Connor as he’s offered a job away from Coronation Street

RYAN Connor has slowly been building his confidence back up months after his acid attack.

The hunk played by Ryan Prescott gets a huge job offer next week, which could lead him straight out of Coronation Street.

Ryan has been put through the wringer in recent months as he has continuously struggled to overcome his acid attack and the trauma it left him with.

He has also been thrown in a love triangle of his own when Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) began to harbour romantic feelings for him.

However, after jumping into bed together, the pair were shocked to see Crystal Hyde (Erin Austen) still had every intention of connecting with Ryan.

The club promoter recently came back to the cobbles after ditching Ryan and going to Ibiza.

As viewers will recall, Ryan made plans to leave Weatherfield for a fresh start on the Balearic island prior to his acid attack – but these were put on hold once Justin Rutherford took action against him and Daisy.

But with the worst times behind him, could it be time for Ryan to get back to what he had originally planned?

Coming up next week on the ITV soap, Crystal calls at the Bistro and invites Ryan to join her at a new bar in town later on.

Ryan is delighted to keep her company and, in later scenes, takes a call offering him a job.

Taken aback, he’s led to cover in front of Bistro owner, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson).

Could he leave his life waiting tables for a new opportunity away from Weatherfield?

What will Crystal think?

More importantly, who could stop him?

Will Daisy Midgeley intervene?

As mentioned above, Daisy has developed feelings for Ryan as they’ve bonded over their shared trauma.

Ryan managed to save Daisy from Justin’s acid attack, but it led him to have severe facial scarring.

However, she was stopped from getting closer to him by her own relationship and engagement with long-term partner Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

But could Ryan’s probable exit from Coronation Street be enough to convince her to chase him again?
