CHARLENE White has revealed I'm A Celebrity bosses keep a terrifying secret from campmates on the first day of filming.
Newsreader Charlene, 43, competed on the ITV reality show last year, going on to become the first star eliminated.
Despite her short-lived time in the jungle, she looked back at her stint with fond memories on Loose Women today.
But the panellist struggled to contain her fear while speaking about the Walk The Plank challenge.
The classic initiation sees campmates edge out along a wobbly plank, set up on the edge of a skyscraper.
While they're harnessed up, Charlene has claimed contestants are kept in the dark when it comes to just how far they'll descend if things go awry.

She said: "What they don't tell you is how far you'll fall if you fall off.
"So, they refuse to tell you that so you don't know if you're falling a little bit or halfway down the building. It's incredibly nerve-wracking."
Charlene must be thankful she's not involved with this year's show, as producers ramped things up even more this time around.
Campmates had to cling to a cylindrical metal pole on all fours while climbing along the length, out into thin air to retrieve a star.

And before tackling the new feature, the celebs had to descend down another metal structure - a ladder.
The changes come as no surprise as, last year some viewers said the high octane opener had begun to feel familiar.
