Amy had hoped to make a return to the dancefloor this weekend after she finished her chemotherapy treatment earlier this month.

But despite her latest setback, she seemed in high spirits as she joined her co-stars in Blackpool for the annual Strictly special at the Tower Ballroom this weekend.

The 33-year-old was dressed for the occasion in a black sparkly blazer suit which complemented her orthopaedic boot which was decorated in silver rhinestones.

She was seen walking with the help of crutches before taking to a wheelchair later in the night for an after-party.

Earlier this week, Amy shared the “heartbreaking” news that she will no longer be able to appear in the remaining episodes of the show due to her fractured foot.

Posting an Instagram picture of her sporting a large plastic boot, she wrote: “Not the week I was hoping for since finishing chemo.

"Port out but unfortunately gained a boot for a fractured foot.

“Absolutely gutted and heartbroken as this means the plans for me to dance in the Strictly Ballroom this year are no longer possible.

"This is what has kept me going the past few months."

She added: “2023 is certainly not my year, roll on 2024 I say!"

Although she is unable to take part in the show, Amy has still made several appearances on the latest series.

In October, she shocked fans when she arrived on the series in a sparkly gown to read the show’s terms and conditions.

The star later revealed that she decided to ditch her wig and "brave the bald" just moments before her surprise appearance on the BBC show.

Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer in May and underwent a mastectomy in July.

The dancer was later told she would have to begin a course of chemo after doctors discovered the cancer had spread.

On November 9, 2023, she celebrated after she had completed all eight rounds of chemotherapy.
