Laura was coupled up with Arthur Poremba during the social experiment, and made it all the way to the final vows, however the finance manager decided that they weren't meant to be.

Since then the reality star has become a huge hit online and recently asked her 112k followers what is the best place to buy lounge wear.

However one nasty troll said that she should be insecure about her skin.

Laura hit back and said: "Yes I am insecure about my skin.

"It was a huge part of me considering whether to do the show or not. I was worried how it would look on camera.

"I had acne for years and so there are a couple very light scars from that.

"I've been bullied most of my life for the way I look. I really thought in my thirties people might grow up but apparently not.

"Please don't be so cruel about people's appearance.

"I can't help the way I look, believe me I wish I could."

The star later took to her story again to share the love with her fans.

Laura said: "Thank you for your literal 100s of messages of kindness following the comment about my skin.

"We all have insecurities and imperfections, it's what makes us unique and human.

"It would be boring if we were all perfect.

"I've worked hard to accept and embrace the way I look. I'm not there yet but messages like that one would have destroyed me in the past, so the fact I was able to share it and not get too upset is growth in itself."

Earlier this week Laura called time on her relationship with tennis coach Arthur, after he told her he wanted to make a go of things.

She told him: "I know we've grown as individuals in this process, but the more I grow as a person the more I grow apart from you.

"I've always been a fixer, but I've realised this relationship is something that can't be fixed.

"You helped me realise what I don't want and I'm going to give you this [wedding ring] back, but thank you for making me realise who I am.

"You'll be perfect for someone, but it won't be me."

Speaking with tears afterwards to the camera, Laura said: "Arthur's vows made it quite difficult for me, I came into this not really knowing what was going to be on the horizon for me, I took a chance and it didn't pay off."

Meanwhile, a devastated Arthur said: "That made me feel like crap, I didn't really see it coming, ultimately I was trying to make things work on the outside and I'm really gutted that she didn't feel the same way, we could have had something special."
