I’m A Celeb’s Nigel Farage reveals which Bushtucker Trials he’ll be exempt from after suffering catalogue of injuries
NIGEL Farage has lifted the lid on which Bushtucker Trials he will be swerving in the jungle because of health issues.
The politician and GB News presenter has cheated death several times in his life and has been left with a long list of chronic injuries as a result.
This means Nigel, 59, will be exempt from taking part in specific trials on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun before the new series kicks off this weekend, the former UKIP leader confirmed exactly what he won't be allowed to do.
"Well, anything involving weightlifting, I'd be out because I've obviously had some quite serious physical injuries and neck reconstructions and goodness knows what else," Farage said.
"So they are fully aware that I'm a little bit damaged when it comes to bodily structure. But having said that, I can still do most things."

Nigel added that he isn't fazed by the Bushtucker Trials and is just planning to get on with the job when it is his turn.
"Well, you know what?" he said. "I'll just do my best. It's all I can do.
"I doubt that any of the trials are actually going to kill me, although I don't think they'll all be a bag of fun.
"But hey look, I signed up for this. It's in for a penny in for a pound. So let's go."

In 2010, Farage was famously involved in a plane crash while campaigning for the General Election.
Incredibly, despite the small aircraft flipping upside down and nosediving, he managed to stumble away.
Nigel did, however, need to have major surgery several years later on back and neck injuries he sustained in the accident.
In his 20s, Nigel also beat cancer and he cheated death again during this period in his life after being run over by a car.
This week, Farage touched down in Brisbane, Australia, alongside his famous I'm A Celeb co-stars.
Nigel is reportedly set to be the highest paid star in the show's history thanks to a £1.5million pay check.
He isn't expecting to walk away as King Of The Jungle without a fight, though.
Farage has also admitted: “The downsides – well look. It could be a complete, total car crash. A disaster.
"I might finish up having a fight with somebody – who knows! I might get voted out on the first round, I don’t know.

"But I know that things could go very badly wrong and you’re on camera 24 hours a day, seven days a week for up to 22 days that the contestants are in the jungle. So of course a lot could go wrong."
