Netflix axes FIVE series in most brutal TV cull yet – leaving fans devastated
NETFLIX has announced they will be scrapping five shows in a brutal TV cull taking place after financial re-evaluations.
After seven months of Hollywood strikes slowed filming, the streaming platform has made a final calls on shows they will not be renewing for another season.
The majority of the series only have one season out so far, and were likely selected for the axe because they didn't attract a large enough audience.
Those in that category include comedy drama Glamorous, alongside animated series Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall.
Another larger show Netflix decided not to bring back to screens is Shadow and Bone.
The news came despite the second series making its way to the top of Netflix's most-watched list.

Shadow and Bone revolves around Alina Starkov, an orphaned map-maker who realises that she has a series of special gifts.
