MAFS UK groom QUITS reunion as he snubs show following dramatic marriage split

MARRIED AT First Sight returns for its explosive reunion dinner party tonight - but one groom will be absent after snubbing the invite.

Nathanial Valentino refused to attend the dramatic get-together, which was filmed in September, three months after the series wrapped in June.

It comes after he branded the series a "sham" after his doomed romance with bride Ella Morgan.

An insider told The Sun: "Nathanial didn't show up for the reunion, which was a bit of an insult to his fellow cast. He made no secret of the fact that he had some struggles during the show, but lots of other brides and grooms had a tough time and still turned up."

Nathanial quit the series in fury after discovering Ella had 'cheated' on him with JJ Slater.

But JJ's jilted bride Bianca Petronzi still shows up tonight, so many saw Nathanial's no-show as sour grapes.

"When you sign a contract to do a show, it's poor form not to see it through to the end," the source added.

"There were brides and grooms on the show who got a far worse edit than Nathanial and still turned up to face the music, so it was odd that he decided to have nothing to do with it - especially as he has been very vocal about the show on social media.

"While he may have had some bad blood with Ella and JJ, snubbing the invite was a slap in the face to all the friends he did make during filming"

When contacted by The Sun, a spokesperson for the show confirmed Nathanial was invited to attend the reunion.

They said: “All of this years’ cast members were invited to attend the end of series reunion and it was their choice whether they wished to do so.”

Last night, viewers saw the last of the final vows as the remaining couples in the experiment decided whether to stay together or go their separate ways.

Out of all the final couples, Matt and Adrienne, Peggy and Georges, Tasha and Paul and Erica and Jordan stayed together.

Meanwhile Laura and Arthur and Ella and JJ chose to call time on their relationships.

Tonight's reunion will reveal which of the couples are still together in the months following the final vows, and judging from the explosive teaser, it looks like there is more heartbreak to come.
