The devastating news was shared by the 64-year-old's loved ones today.

Annabel's children Molly and Ted said their "incredible" mum had been tragically diagnosed with brain cancer earlier this year.

They said her spirits remained high as she underwent multiple intense surgeries, and she kept her "quick wit until the very end".

The mum's tragic final post on social media came just weeks before her cancer diagnosis.

And, in one of her final photos shared more than a year ago, Annabel was snapped beaming.

She sported bright red hair as she posed by a Rehab the Musical poster - and showed off their merchandise.

The picture was shared in September last year. She was diagnosed with cancer in July.

Annabel's family today shared the devastating news of her death on her Instagram, revealing the I'm A Celeb star passed away yesterday afternoon.

Molly and Ted's heartbreaking statement read: "It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our incredible mother, Annabel Giles, who passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon at Martlets Hospice in Hove.

"In July, Mum was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma, a fast-growing and highly aggressive malignant brain tumour.

"In the four months that followed, she displayed remarkable resilience and strength, despite undergoing brain surgery and countless radiotherapies.

"In her final weeks, she was passionate about raising awareness for Glioblastoma, embodying her lifelong commitment to helping others."

Annabel had been part of the 13th series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here back in 2013, entering the jungle on day five.

She came out of the show in 12th place after failing to impress viewers at home, who voted her out of the show.

In 2018, Annabel returned to TV as she took to a role in ITV programme Our Shirley Valentine Summer

The mum, who was best known as co-presenter of ITV's Posh Frocks and New Trousers, has also appeared on Have I Got News For You, Through the Keyhole, and Noel's House Party.

The former The Wright Stuff guest had one daughter with ex-husband and Ultravox lead singer Midge Ure who she was married to between 1985 and 1989.

Annabel also had a son Ted, who was born in 1998.
