SOME familiar faces from kids' TV in the nineties are set to return to screens in a BBC MasterChef special.
A selection of puppets will be taking over the kitchen as part of this year's Children in Need show, which is aired by the broadcaster every year to raise money for charity.
Viewers will be entertained by old favourites such as Hacker T Dog, Dodge and Tinky Winky as they join John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the MasterChef kitchen to compete for the title of best cook.
Others on the nostalgia puppet line up include Basil Brush, Zippy and George from Rainbow.
The special episode will prove silly and chaotic as the marionettes battle it out amongst the pots and pans.
Even regular MasterChef presenter Gregg can be seen struggling to keep a straight face as the TV personalities describe the dishes they are about to attempt.

BBC's Children in Need show will be taking The One Show's usual slot, airing this Friday from 7pm.
The three hour extravaganza boasts comedy sketches, musical talent and surprise guests.
In another nostalgia moment, audiences will be delighted to see David Tennant returning to his role as Doctor Who for one night only.
The Children in Need official choir will also be performing a tear-jerking rendition of You Raise Me Up.
