THIS Morning’s Josie Gibson is off the daytime sofa and ready to head into the jungle after landing in Australia ahead of her stint in the bush.
Bristol-born Josie was beaming as she arrived at Brisbane Airport, confirming her signing for ITV’s show.
She joked she was in the country for a "weight loss retreat" and laughed when asked “if rice and beans were part of the programme”.
There was more giggling at the thought of taking a break from her This Morning telly husband Craig Doyle.
Revealing who would be replacing her on the box this week, she said: "He's on with Cat Deeley on Wednesday and the Rylan too. So, make sure you don't miss it."
The bubbly star wouldn't, or rather couldn't, speak about son Reggie, five, finding it too emotional having left him behind in the UK while she takes part in the show.
Asked what she'll miss the most, she said: "Obviously my little boy, it was really emotional saying goodbye. I can't talk about it, it's too emotional."
Back in July, The Sun revealed how This Morning anchor Josie, 38, had bagged a bumper jungle deal.
An ITV insider said: “Josie is hugely popular with This Morning viewers and producers were determined to get her.
“She is seen as the perfect person for the jungle as she’s already such a familiar face on ITV and will bring her fanbase with her.
“She’s incredibly down-to-earth and seems to strike a chord with people at home. Plus they’re confident Josie will bring the laughs to I’m A Celebrity, as she already does on This Morning, and is guaranteed to get on with most of the jungle campmates."
Bristol-born Josie won Big Brother 2010 but is now a staple of daytime telly after joining This Morning.
While she began hosting the competitions, in 2021, she became a part-time presenter, filling in at short notice for Holly Willoughby.
will join the full I'm A Celebrity 2023 line-up in camp this weekend, with politicians, influencers and daytime stars being thrown into the nation's most famous camp.
Ant and Dec will welcome the latest stars brave enough to tackle stomach-churning bushtucker trials and terrifying challenges on Sunday November 19.
And this year's show is set to be one of the best yet with twelve top names from the worlds of Westminster, Albert Square and even the MasterChef kitchen.
ITV appears to have upped the ante on its famous Bushtucker Trials too, with The Sun’s exclusive footage showing the Walk The Plank challenge has received a devilish makeover.
