Strictly legend tears into show’s decision to keep Angela Rippon – saying she delivered her ‘worst-ever dance’
STRICTLY legend Brendan Cole has ripped into Angela Rippon for delivering her "worst ever dance" after Adam Thomas became the latest contestant to be booted off.
It comes after some viewers slammed the judges for "overmarking" TV star Angela, 79, in a bid to "keep her on the show for longer".
Professional dancer Brendan, who appeared on the BBC One dance competition from 2004 to 2018, has now said that Adam's rumba was "much better" than Angela's waltz, despite her scoring higher than him.
Brendan, 47, exclusively told The Sun: "I didn't see a mis-step [from Angela Rippon], but I did see a massive wobble at the end.
"Her timing was a little off. She had turned out feet which you can't really have in ballroom dancing.
"It was her worst dance, and she didn't perform it as well as she did the first time she performed it."

Waterloo Road star Adam landed second from bottom with 27 point, compared to Angela's 28 for her waltz.
Adam said goodbye to the competition after he failed to impress the judges during his dance-off against Angela.
“Adam [Thomas] and Luba [Mushtuk] were much better in the dance-off than Angela and Kai [Widdrington]," Brendan continued.
"Having said that, in general, Angela has been much better than what Adam has been.

“It's probably better for the show that Angela stays, but that's not what the dance-off is about.”
Frustrated fans thought the judges were being too lenient when it came to scoring Angela, which ultimately impacted where the other contestants fell on the scoreboard.
One angry viewer wrote: "There's no point the judges gasping in shock. If they'd scored Angela Rippon properly Adam would've been higher up the table and might've swerved the dance-off."
Another fumed: "Do they think we are stupid? 'Oh they’ve rumbled our high scoring of Angela!' So! We’ll mark her down to proper scores, reduce the scores of Adam as crap so that he’ll go and keep Angela in!"
A third said: "They scored her the same as Angela S and 3 behind Layton. I mean come on!!!"
"Pretty sure the goal is to get her to Blackpool so they can link it with Come Dancing," this person speculated.
Adam, who has rheumatoid arthritis, made a number of errors in his final dance which saw the judges vote to unanimously save TV presenter Angela.
He revealed his illness meant he had to miss out on hours of training.
He told The Sun last week: “I’m surprised I’ve lasted this long without getting ill.
