Liberty Poole leaves rival in tears on Love Island Games after brutal row over US star

LIBERTY Poole has reduced a Love Island Games rival to tears while rowing over hunky Johnny Middlebrooks.

Liberty, 24, came to blows with Jessica Losurdo, 28, after it was revealed she had kissed the US star.

Jessica, who found fame on Love Island Australia, burst into tears as she told Liberty the rejection had "rattled" her.

In a teaser clip on Love Island USA's Instagram page, Jess tells Liberty: "You have a connection with Johnny. You've kissed him, I haven't.

"You know full well that I'm getting to know him as well. How do you think that makes me feel?

"I feel like you're just rubbing it in my face."

Sitting alongside Jess on an outdoor sofa, Liberty replied: "I'm not trying to create drama over nothing. I'm here wearing my heart on my sleeve and I think you should do the same."

But Jessica told Liberty that she 'doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve', before admitting: "I'm getting emotional."

Starting to cry, she continued: "I feel like... sorry... I don't wear my heart on my sleeve because I like to pretend everything's okay.

"I think it's a coping mechanism but I've had a f***ing hard run in here."

Jessica claimed she was "happy" for Liberty and her connection with Johnny, but tearfully admitted she as finding the process tough.

"To get to know someone, and obviously he prefers you. I just keep getting rejected," she added.

"This has rattled me so much that I don't even give a f*** about the guys anymore.

"I've no drive to get to know Johnny. He can take it. That's how I feel."

Both girls admitted that it was not "worth" falling out over a guy and ended up hugging.

Liberty said in the Beach Hut that they would continue to "be civil" to each other.

Love Island Games kicked off on the US streaming platform Peacock at the beginning of the month.

The new spin-off show sees past villa legends from around the world coming together for the ultimate reality series.

Narrated by Iain Stirling, the islanders face dating, eliminations, re-couplings, and newcomers' arrivals - all while competing in challenges.

There are nine iconic UK islanders taking part, including Liberty, Megan Barton Hanson and Toby Aromolaran.

Earlier this week, Liberty snogged American islander Johnny in a game of dare.

It came after she was friend-zoned by Aussie islander Callum Hole, who decided he wanted to get to know Brit babe Megan better.

But after watching the smooch play out, one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter): "I want the best for Liberty, but it's like she doesn't see the f*** boy when he's right in front of her."

Liberty found fame on the seventh series of Love Island UK, which aired in 2021.
