BBC Breakfast fans concerned for Sally Nugent’s health as they swipe ‘she shouldn’t be working!’
BBC BREAKFAST fans have been left concerned for Sally Nugent saying she "shouldn't be working".
The journalist presented this morning's show alongside Jon Kay on the iconic red sofa.
However, Sally appeared to sound hoarse as she read the news, leading fans to worry for her.
The 51-year-old posted a behind-the-scenes snap of a coffee and a Lemsip as she revealed to BBC Breakfast viewers she was indeed poorly.
But while Sally was a trooper and still turned up for work, some fans thought she should've stayed at home.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer posted: "Why has dreary Sally turned up at work with a stinking cold? Or is it Covid?"

A second wrote: "Well done for soldiering on today! I believe we may have the same cold!"
"Shoutout to Sally Nugent who presented BBC Breakfast full of a cold! Proper trooper, go Sal," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "How ill does Sally sound this morning, I think she needs a Lemsip and to go home to rest."
Despite being under the weather, Sally looked absolutely flawless on set as she stunned in a pink suit.
The mum-of-one completed her look with a pair of cream high heels.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One and iPlayer.
