Married At First Sight UK fans demand contestant ditches ‘controlling’ wife after spotting major red flags

MARRIED At First Sight fans have urged Georges to leave Peggy after spotting major red flags.

The show is drawing closer to final vows, with many of the series' original couples still going strong.

However, Peggy and Georges have been struggling in their new marriage.

The couple had a huge fallout over Georges' squatting videos, which sees Georges do online challenges set by fans.

Peggy branded his online hobby "sick and weird" and said that if he wanted to carry on his content creation he would have to do it without her.

On a Reddit post, one fan wrote: "Peggy is controlling Georges and it's scary. Anyone else see it?"

They then went on to list the 'red flags' that they had spotted.

"On their honeymoon, baiting him into arguments and making snap judgements (on the online current topic - 'I'm not ok with you doing that', 'why would you be ok with that?'" they said.

"Constantly making out that Georges is not well-received by the entire group (I don't think any of us understand this, and his swap task proved he's lovable)," the fan continued.

"Keep bringing up that he needs to show everyone what she sees... the 'real Georges' - aka dampen your personality."

In a recent episode, Peggy and Georges were given the task to list three things that they don't like about each other.

Georges raised the issue of intimacy, admitting that he feels "not good enough" for Peggy.

"There is no intimacy and we are not progressing with that," Georges told Peggy.

Peggy then responded: "It's not all on me."

"We've had so many obstacles and we've got through them all stronger than ever, but intimacy has not progressed, there are a few things that put me off Georges," Peggy told the camera.

She added: "You can't put a date on when you have sex with someone."

The Reddit user said that Peggy let Georges sit by her while she watched his infamous squat video as she "judged and humiliated him".

"Now she's saying she needs to be a #1 priority, and he can f**** his hobbies off (that he loves and makes some income off)," they continued.

"He is his own individual person and you cannot expect your partner to abandon what they love doing at a click of your fingers.

"If this was just gaming, then of course there's flexiblility. But this is streaming. With streaming, you have to be structured and consistent, you can't just be like "f*** these fans, gonna take the night off.

"That's like Georges saying to Peggy 'if I want us to go see my family on Friday I expect you to not show up at the office'"'.

Other fans agreed, with one saying that it's "really sad to see her wanting to quit his hobbies".
