Inside ex Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle’s stunning cosy cottage with exposed beams and cute dog

SHE is best loved for playing cobbles legend Janice Battersby for over 14 years.

But away from Coronation Street and Vicky Entwistle’s home is far cry from the terrace she shared on screen with hubby Les and their kids.

The actress, 55, owns a stunning country cottage, as well as another two bed abode which she rents out for £800-a-week.

The main home features a well-sized kitchen with marble island.

There is a range cooker and a large double door fridge.

Her bedroom features exposed cobbles and beams but has a cosy feel - perfect for her dog to relax.

Vicky lives next door to her holiday rental and has previously said she loves the place so much she prefers it to her main home because she doesn’t row with her hubby.

She shared snaps of the retreat in rural Lancashire on social media and told fans: “If any of my fellow gorgeous tweeters fancy a little holiday in our cute cottage then please check it out on Sykes Cottages. Pendleton Village.

“We adore it, so cosy and magical… but then we are biased. I don’t want to live in the big house. I want to live here! Everything is so much simpler. We don’t argue for starters!”

Vicky – who now regularly stars in panto – joined Coronation Street 25 years ago and left in 2011.

She later clashed with her on-screen daughter  over criticism of Oliver's death storyline.

Vicky tweeted: "But imagine if she had better writers behind her!!! That really would have been something!!!"

Furious Jane wrote back: 'That's so disrespectful. They were some of the best scripts I have ever had.

"Shame on you for writing that! Very disappointed how mean that comment was!"

And in 2020 she broke down in tears when she was reunited with her former on-screen husband Bruce Jones on Loose Women.

In real life, Vicky has been married to Andrew Chapman since 2002.

Last year, Vicky told fans he no longer had prostrate cancer.

Speaking about his diagnosis in the past, she said: "When Andy was diagnosed, both our worlds started to crumble. We did not know a lot about prostate cancer, and hearing a diagnosis of the ‘Big C’ for their husband is any wife’s worst nightmare.”
