MAFS star Peggy defends ‘cheating’ bride Ella after she makes shock return to show

MARRIED At First Sight star Peggy Rose has defended her good pal Ella Morgan Clark after she was slammed for "cheating" with a fellow co-star.

This week Ella left viewers shocked when she returned to MAFS UK with JJ Slater - after her marriage to Nathanial Valentino failed to work.

The new couple walked hand in hand as they shocked their co-stars.

It left some of the couples divided, while those at home thought it was unfair that Ella and JJ were allowed to re-enter the process as a couple, despite their infidelity.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Peggy supported pal Ella and said everyone deserves a second-chance.

Peggy told us Davide Sanclimenti's Sci-Mx launch party: "Everyone has been so supportive, there has been a lot of girl power. At first I was really worried about the trolls.

"We're all such a big family on MAFS and we all support each other too.

"It's a TV show and we are all there to find love.

"Ella and JJ coming back into the process doesn't impact the other couples - we are still in the process, so people shouldn't have a problem with it.

"She's looking for love like everyone else and hopefully she finds it."

But it hasn't been easy for Ella and JJ, who was previously paired with Bianca Petronzi for the experiment.

JJ was forced to speak out after being bombarded with comments on a recent TikTok live video.

He said: "Am I bi now? No! I see Ella as a girl.

"I don’t know how many times I have to say that.

"The thing is everyone in the experiment saw Ella as a woman and a girl because that’s what she is."

Earlier this month fans watched the shocking moment Ella started her "affair" with Essex boy JJ.
