Emmerdale fans demand ‘pointless’ storyline is axed as they slam soap
EMMERDALE fans have slammed show bosses for continuing the 'rather tedious' Chloe, Charity and Mackenzie storyline.
During Super Soap Week, the trio were involved in a car crash, and Mack decided to save his estranged wife over the mother of his child.
In a shock twist, Chloe survived the horrific car accident and was airlifted to the hospital, and when she woke up from her coma, she remembered what Mack had done, but pretended she didn't.
The storyline has been going on for weeks, and ITV fans have expressed that they are 'bored'.
Passionate show fans took to an online forum and shared their thoughts on the storyline, with one writing: "It will go on and on, The Pointless plot should have finished after the accident, but with so many holes, the lost white van man has never spoken about, and the remarkable recovery lost."
Another wished: "I really hope that it ends soon. I just can't with Chloe. I hate her so much."

A third added: "When I watch these three characters in this storyline, I just think this must end soon.
"But sadly, it is like it is just going around in circles where they all keep having the same scenes with Chloe and Mack in a room talking.
"Then we have a scene between Charity and Mack talking, then another scene with Charity and Chloe with them saying the same thing over and over again.
"I'm so bored with it now, but I get the feeling that this storyline will continue as the producers think this is riveting stuff when really it is rather tedious."

A fourth chimed in: "They will do their usual and keep going on it til we are sick of it, then go some more until finally they are sick of it or dream up a new storyline to replace it with.
"At which time they will drop it in a most unsatisfactory and hasty manner and on with the new! *** the viewers, they will put up with any old crap."
A fifth declared: "Don't know and don't care! Amy has become a really preachy character, dictating to Chloe what she should do.
"Apart from the glaring omission of prosecuting the van which ran them off the road (or indeed even looking for it!) and interviewing Chloe has to her dreadful driving.
"The rest of it is just the same old, same old.?"
Emmerdale fans will have to buckle up and endure more of the threesome as show boss Laura Shaw has teased that the love triangle storyline will continue over Christmas and the start of 2024.
She told Inside Soa that 'there's more to come for Charity, Mack and Chloe'.
She added: "The repercussions from Super Soap Week will play through Christmas and into New Year."
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
