Gogglebox’s Stephen Lustig-Webb breaks silence as he’s replaced on Dancing on Ice by Eddie The Eagle
STEPHEN Lustig-Webb has broken his silence after being replace on Dancing on Ice by Eddie the Eagle.
Gogglebox star Stephen, 52, was forced to pull out of the competition after breaking his ankle.
It was later revealed winter sports legend Eddie, 59, had been drafted in to replace him.
After the news was confirmed online by the official Dancing on Ice Instagram page, Stephen was one of the first to comment and wrote: "Go for gold Eddie."
The reality star and hairdresser is said to have suffered a "freak accident" during rehearsals which landed him with the injury which means he'll be on crutches for "three months".
A source told the : "Stephen is devastated… he is absolutely gutted.

"He was loving training but while turning on his skates he snapped his ankle and was rushed to hospital.
"After two days and an operation to put metal plates into his left ankle, medics informed him that there wasn't a chance he could return to training, so he had no other option but to pull out of the competition."
Yesterday The Sun exclusively revealed Eddie had signed up to replace Stephen on the ice.
Eddie - real name Michael Edwards - became the first ever competitor to represent Team GB in ski jumping in 1988.

Stephen was announced for the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice just weeks after quitting Gogglebox along with husband Daniel Lustwig.
In a joint statement they said: "After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox.
"We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities."
