THE One Show fans were left seriously distracted by Nicole Scherzinger's striking dress last night - swiping 'did she have a fight with her duvet?!'

The former Pussycat Dolls front woman was on the BBC show to discuss her latest West End role which is receiving high praise from critics.

Nicole, 45, is currently starring in Sunset Boulevard as Norma Desmond, a washed-up film star dreaming of a glittering comeback.

Sitting down in The One Show studio to talk to hosts Gabby Logan and Jermaine Jenas, Nicole looked sensational in a white mini dress by designer Rick Owens.

The garment featured a puffy statement shoulder on one side and down the back, before feeding into the sleeve on the other side.

Gabby, 50, couldn't help but comment on how incredible Nicole looked, saying during her introduction: "Nearly a decade after being nominated for an Olivier in her West End debut, she is back in the revival of Sunset Boulevard.

However, some viewers at home were quick to compare Nicole's unusual dress to a duvet cover.

One wrote on social media: "Looks like Nicole is wearing her duvet to her interview, doesn't even need to get into bed she's already in it."

Another added: "I know it's turned a bit chilly Nicole but not sure you needed to wear your duvet."

But others were in love with her funky look, with one fan writing: "Nicole bringing high fashion as always! She looks absolutely stunning."

A fellow viewer added: "My favourite thing is when people whose idea of dressing well involves a plain shirt and a pair of skinny jeans start making fun of anyone who even dares to wear something unique. Nicole looked stunning."
