Big Brother’s Zak reveals he’s turned down huge ITV reality show ‘multiple times’

BIG Brother star Zak Srakaew has revealed that he's turned down the chance to appear on ITV's Love Island multiple times after producers begged to get him on the show.

The model, 28, became the second contestant to be evicted from the series on Friday after contestant Hallie questioned if he was "playing a game", ultimately resulting in a number of co-stars turning against him.

Although Zak's time in the house was cut short, the Manchester lad has promised that this is not the last that you'll see of him and is planning on having a successful media career.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Zak revealed that he has been approached on a number of occasions to be a contestant on Love Island.

However, the Boohoo model said he was forced to turn down the opportunity because he is currently in a relationship with his stunning girlfriend.

He told us: “They ask me every single year, they’ve been trying to get me on for so many years.

"But I’ve said I got a Mrs and I love her, so that’s out of the question for now.

"If I was single, I would think about it - I don’t know if Love Island is my kind of show, but I’d think about it, we’ll see.

"All I’m going to say is this isn’t the last you’re going to see of me.”

Zak has now set his sights on another challenge and is hoping to sign up to I'm A Celeb.

"I'm A Celeb has been on my bucket list for the last 10 years, I'm just one of those guys that float with what comes my way," he said.

"I take the opportunities and I don't try to force anything. What is meant for me, will be for me."

Since leaving the famous house, Zak revealed that he has watched the last few episodes and his opinions of his co-stars have changed.

He has now hit back at his co-stars for being "fake" and for playing up to the cameras for airtime.

Zak told us: "I've had a lot of feedback from a lot of people saying that it was unfair that I had to leave because I was being too nice, that's not really an excuse to use.

"But it's happened now and what's meant to be will be, I'm gutted as I feel I had so much more to show to the world and a lot more love to share.

"I feel like Hallie did me over, but after she started spreading rumours about me, there was a switch up.

"The biggest game-player is Kerry and Chanelle - she's a low-key game-player.

"If I were to go back in, I'd stay away from them both."

Opening up about Kerry being "manipulative", Zak admitted he cottoned onto her ways from day one and believes she's not being genuine.

"I sensed it from the first couple of days being around Kerry, I'm one those guys, I can read energy really well and I predicted it was going to happen before it even happened," the Manchester lad said.

"I said in my post interview before going into the Big Brother house that people are going to say I'm too nice and playing a game.

"That's the same thing that came out.

"Going in there, I could see little faults from Kerry what she was doing - Farida told me about it, I knew straight away.

"That's why me and Farida had a connection in there, we were really tight, I could see what she saw.

"But the thing with me, I like to see the good in people quite a lot, I tried to look past it.

"But I knew straight away the type of woman she was.

"But at the same time, she's trying to be manipulative and guilt trip people, trying to get people on her team, trying to get the youngsters and pretend to be their mother - like 'you're going to look after me, I'm going to look after you', that's what she's been doing in there."
