HOMES Under the Hammer host Dion Dublin was left floored by an 'absolutely huge' surprise hidden in a £67k terraced house.
In a recent episode of the BBC show, the former footballer headed to Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
The terraced property was riddled with damp and while Dion was confident it could eventually be a "lovely family house", a lot of money needed to be spent on top of the £67,000 guide price.
Discussing the water damage in the kitchen, he said: "I would strip the whole of this house back to brick, find the issues and deal with them."
But the star became "excited" when he discovered the "icing on the cake" after heading out into the courtyard at the back.
He said: "There's one more thing I want to show you and I'm quite excited about it."
It was a big garage which had previously operated as a taxi company, complete with pit and mezzanine.
Dion said it was one of the biggest he had ever seen on the show and added: "Thinking about it, could it be a separate dwelling to the house?"
He concluded: "So this house does have its issues but if you can look past that I do believe there's a lovely family house to be had here.
"And don't forget the bonus, the icing on the cake, that garage! It could make you a couple of quid that you weren't expecting."

The property ended up selling for £70,000 at auction, with the new owner planning to spend a further £15,000 on renovations.
He had also set aside a further £40,000 to try and turn the garage into a separate home, pending planning permission from the local council.
When the cameras returned later in the show, the owner had managed to complete his project within his 12-week time frame and remain within his budget.
Meanwhile, he was working with an architect to draw up plans for the garage to be turned into a two-bed detached home, and if planning permission was granted, he hoped to have it built within a year.
