THE BBC have finally revealed the return date for the long-awaited revival of the popular show Survivor.
Fronted by The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett, 18 carefully selected individuals will be left to battle it out in a range of challenges for a chance to pick up the trophy and cash prize.
Fans don't have long to wait with the show arriving on screens on Saturday October 28 at 8:25pm on BBC One.
It will be quickly followed up the following night on Sunday with a second episode airing at 8pm.
The contenders on the show will be split into two tribes and compete for the chance to win immunity each episode.
At each stage, players will be voted out of the game by the Tribe Council until the two tribes eventually merge and the game becomes a head-to-head survival battle.

Among some of the contestants are 36 year old Christopher, a singer and songwriter, and fitting model Jess.
They will be joined by fitness instructor Nathan who is more determined than ever to succeed on the programme.
Explaining why he chose to face the survival challenge, he said: "I very much believe in the concept of Kaizen (a Japanese term for continuous improvement) and I try to apply this concept to every part of my life.
"When I reflect on when I’ve grown the most, it has always been on the back of significantly challenging times, adversity, or hardship."
He also thoroughly prepared for the game with an intense training programme.
