EASTENDERS fans were left doing a double-take as a Walford hunk looked 'unrecognisable' while topless.

Fans of the long-running BBC One soap tuned in on Monday night for their drama fix.

Villain Ravi was still trying to chase his missing son Davinder who had ran away from home, believing he was a murderer.

And with the character - who is played by Aaron Thiara - now having to deal with his ex-wife reappearing, fans' attention was elsewhere.

As Ravi left off steam by hitting the gym for a workout, viewers were stunned by his appearance.

He showed off his long black locks as he let his hair down while boxing.

Usually the EastEnders criminal wears his hair up in a tight bun.

Viewers at first didn't recognise the character and took to social media to comment.

One said: "Ohhh!!! Ravi has his hair down! I wasn’t expecting that. He’s really at his lowest. #EastEnders."

A second wrote: "Crikey, Ravi's let himself go. I didn't recognise him #Eastenders."

"Ravi with his hair down in the gym - really the only time he needs it tied up. #EastEnders," said a third.

While a fourth posted: "With such a luxurious mane of hair, Ravi looks more like a Lion."
