GOOD news for Rick and Morty fans in the U.K., as the new season of the cartoon series will be available to stream without a Netflix subscription.
American adult animated series Rick and Morty premiered on the U.S. cable network Adult Swim on October 15, and now it’s coming to U.K. screens just days later.
The first six seasons of Rick and Morty are currently available to stream on Netflix. However, the seventh season of the cartoon comedy is coming to E4.
It will debut the first episode of the new season tonight, with the remaining nine episodes airing weekly.
This follows the same pattern for the release of Rick and Morty’s sixth season. It premiered on E4 almost a year before it was added to Netflix.
If the pattern continues, viewers can expect the new season to also be added to Netflix at some point in 2024.

For Season 7, the animated series continues the adventures of the titular Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, with one major change. The characters, who were previously voiced by the show’s co-creator Justin Roiland, have been after Justin was dismissed by Adult Swim after domestic assault allegations.
Ian now voices Rick, while Harry takes on the role of Morty. They are joined by Chris Parnell as Jerry Smith, Spencer Grammer as Summer Smith and Sarah Chalke as Beth Smith.
However, fans should expect the new episodes to be as hilarious as ever. Per the summary for Season 7, “Rick and Morty are back and sounding more like themselves than ever.”
It continues: “It’s season 7, and the possibilities are endless: what’s up with Jerry? EVIL Summer?! And will they ever go back to the high school?! Maybe not! But let’s find out!”

Additionally, this will not be Rick and Morty’s last outing. Back in May last year, show writer Rob Schrab announced that pre-production had begun on Season 8.
Rick and Morty Season 7 begins tonight at 10pm on E4.
