BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent had to step in to defend Carol Kirkwood after Jon Kay snapped 'thanks for nothing'.
The journalists were back on the BBC Breakfast sofa today in the Salford studio, while Carol, 61, joined them via video link.
During one of her weather updates, Carol revealed Storm Babet was going to cause problems in some parts of the country.
She said: "It's the calm before the storm because we quite literally have a storm coming our way."
She went to explain how the next few days will see high winds and rain batter parts of the UK, including the south west coast and then moving up to Scotland.
The gale force winds and torrential rain are likely to cause disruption in Scotland, with the stormy conditions continuing through to Thursday at the very least.

Carol signed off by saying: "We're not done with all the rain even by Thursday, there's more to come."
As the camera came back to the studio, Jon, 53, said: "More to come? Oh dear me."
He then said: "Carol thank you..." before adding under his breath "for nothing!"
Co-host Sally, 52, looked shocked and immediately jumped in to defend Carol.

She said: "It's not actually her fault Jon."
Thankfully Carol took the swipe in good humour and could be seen smiling on screen as Jon joked: "I know it's not her fault but we need to blame somebody."
