Sally Nugent fans gush ‘truly stunning!’ as BBC Breakfast star ‘channels Audrey Hepburn’ in strapless dress

BBC BREAKFAST'S Sally Nugent has been compared to Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn by fans in a recent social media post. 

The BBC presenter looked stunning as she displayed her toned legs in a classy figure-hugging dress at a charity event in Paris.

Over the weekend, TV host Sally flew to the French capital and attended a celebration to mark the end of a charity cycle from London to Paris.

The Rugby Centurions Foundation hosted an event to raise money for Cancer Fund For Children and Bhubesi Pride Foundation. 

Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old took a series of snaps from the special event, including one of herself standing on the steps outside a stunning white building whilst sporting a glamorous black bandeau feather dress.

She completed off the look with a pair of heels and silver bangles, wearing her brunette curls in a sophisticated updo.

The newsreader captioned the post: "Thank you @rugbycenturionsclub@vickygosling_obe @ukinfrance for looking after me in Paris.

"Well done to everyone who cycled all the way there for @cancerfundforchildrenand @bhubesipride.

"And a special thank you to the miracle workers at @prettywhitedressbride who made my dress fit."

Eager fans, including some of her 76.3K followers, rushed to her comments section to compliment her looks, as one  wrote: "The first picture is very Audrey Hepburn."

Another added: "Oh Sally, you are stunning! Get them pins out! We love you."

A third echoed: "Oh, look at you, you absolute stunner!"

A fourth said: "Gorgeous dress, Sally, you look absolutely beautiful. Lovely legs."

Recently, Countryfile presenter Helen Skelton revealed in an interview with Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show that her dad, Richard once helped Sally during an awkward encounter with a fan during the 2013 BBC Sports Personality Awards.

Helen discussed briefly that at the time, her dad became an "inadvertent security guard" for the TV presenter, which the latter seemed grateful for but said was a "story for another day".
