Victoria Sugden romps with stepson in shock new Emmerdale affair
MONTHS have gone by since Victoria Sugden last refused to give her relationship with David Metcalfe another chance.
The Emmerdale character beds another villager next week – but how will David react when he finds out it’s his son?
Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) was stunned when David’s money woes led to him throwing her under the bus by submitting her name for a driving fine he’d received.
Since then, the Hide Bistro head chef has remained focus on herself, navigating through single life in the Dales.
Earlier this year, an outing on the town with several other villagers led to her remembering her horrific rape ordeal and she found comfort in the form of Ethan Anderson.
Romance is on its way to Victoria next week on ITV after her former stepson Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) shockingly confessed his feelings for her.
Coming up, David (Matthew Wolfenden) has asked Jacob to make his excuses on a second date he accidentally agreed to.
Feeling for Abby, David’s date, Jacob offers to have a drink with her as a jealous Victoria watches on.
As Jacob sees Abby off, the chemistry sizzles between him and Victoria and it’s not long before the two are locked in a passionate kiss.
Victoria comes to her senses and quickly pulls away before hurrying off, but Jacob is left thrilled.
Later on, David is struck with a glimmer of hope when he hears Victoria’s words of comfort as something more.
As regular viewers of the Yorkshire-based drama will remember, David has been hopeful he can fix his relationship with Victoria.
Despite this, he has been encouraged by his nearest and dearest to give online dating a chance – but he still only has eyes for Victoria and is completely unaware that she shares an attraction with his son Jacob.
Speaking of which, when Jacob collars Victoria, she can’t bring herself to let him leave and Jacob seizes the chance and lunges in for a kiss.
The following day, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) attempts to get his son David to move on but he is unable to get his mind off Victoria.
Determined to get her back, the shopkeeper sets off on a mission to start repairing bridges.
Meanwhile, having spent the night together, Jacob and Victoria are shocked when David arrives unannounced.
After an awkward interaction, Victoria manages to get rid of David who’s left bemused at how things went down.
In later scenes, Jacob is relieved to hear that David is accepting things with Victoria are over but once he leaves it’s clear that’s not actually the case.
Things are starting to get serious between Jacob and Victoria and the lad’s mother Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) is suspicious of Jacob’s secret girlfriend.
Sadly for the pair, things are not destined to end well as Leyla previously made it clear she has no sympathy for Victoria.
The wedding planner was furious with Victoria when a mistake led to her almost poisoning Jacob, who is deadly allergic to nuts.
Leyla was on a rampage to make Victoria’s life a nightmare in the eponymous village.
