A BIG Brother legend has hit out at the show after watching last night’s episode.

Housemates were brought to tears as they received photographs from home after just one week into the social experiment.

It prompted exasperated show favourite Glyn Wise to claim the programme was going a bit soft.

He wrote on X: “Is this a joke #bbuk   People getting emotional about seeing pictures of their family members after a week of being in the house?

“I stayed there for 3 months with no contact from the outside world. I think we were tougher housemates back then!”

His followers seemed to agree with one claiming the housemates were putting on an act for the cameras.

They said: “I’ve been around actors all my life and what you saw there is what we call stage tears . I couldn’t agree more its pathetic I don’t want to spend the next 5 weeks watching these people getting rewarded. itv are taking the p**s . but well done jordan on that picture.”

Glyn found fame in 2006 when he finished as runner-up at the tender age of 18. Included in his highlight reel was the moment he learned to boil an egg for the very first time.

Now, the Welshman, 35, is training to be a vicar in Wrexham.

Last night housemates became emotional when Noky brought pictures of their loved ones into the living area from the Diary Room.

Sitting on the sofas, each housemate spoke about who was in their picture and what they meant to them, and the tears quickly started to flow.

Among the teary reactions was trans contestant Hallie, 18 – though there was no indication Glyn’s words were directed at her.

She showed a snap of her mum and sobbed as she explained how she had been a big support after she came out as transgender.

She said: “I thought I’d got myself together so I could say a few more things.

“My mum has spent so much of her life putting her time and effort into other people and making sure that I am happy and comfortable with myself.

“She put herself in debt to make sure I could get my hormone treatment.”

As she wiped her eyes, she continued: “And she’s just such an amazing woman and I just love her so much. She deserves much more than the world.”

Big Brother continues on Monday, October 16 at 9pm on ITV2.
