Holly Willoughby tells pals exactly when she’ll make her TV comeback as she makes decision on Dancing On Ice future
HOLLY Willoughby has told pals when she will make her TV comeback after deciding her future on Dancing on Ice.
In the wake of the 42 year-old's shock decision to step down for This Morning after 14 years this week, Holly has reportedly told those in her inner circle that she WILL return to screens in January for the ice skating competition.
It comes after speculation she may quit the Sunday night ITV staple following her decision to walk away from the daytime juggernaut and put her family first.
claims that a source close to the mum of two said: “Holly has told pals she wants to do Dancing on Ice. In spite of her decision to walk away from This Morning, she’s still part of the ITV family and loves the show.
“The last few weeks have been really difficult for her, and her team have avoided any formal discussions about work because she has been through so much lately. While Holly has understandably struggled with recent events, she is trying her best –with the help of family and friends – to look forward and to be positive.”
In previous years, Holly fronted Dancing on Ice with long-time co-presenter Phillip Schofield but he quit both the talent competition and This Morning after it was revealed he had an affair with a much younger male ITV employee.

Several big names have been tipped as potential replacements for Phillip on Dancing On Ice, including Stephen Mulhern, who has hosted in his absence in the past.
Stephen has fronted the show before with Holly when Phil had to take the week off due to catching Covid.
The cast for the upcoming series was recently revealed in full, and includes Olympian Greg Rutherford, Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney and Love Island legend Amber Davies.
Meanwhile, Holly sent shockwaves through the industry earlier this week, when she announced on instagram that she was leaving This Morning.
