Coronation Street’s Jenny Connor fights for her life against serial killer Stephen Reid
WEDNESDAY'S trip to the cobbles ended on an ominous note as Stephen Reid was getting ready to confront Jenny Connor.
The beloved Coronation Street character played by Sally Ann Matthews will fight for her life tonight. But will she make it?
Stephen Reid is spiralling out of control as his secrets are finally coming to light and the police are on his tail.
On Wednesday's instalment of the ITV soap, the serial killer played by Todd Boyce tried to make a hasty exit from Weatherfield alone by booking a one-way trip abroad.
This was despite his initial plans to leave the Street with Jenny Connor on his arm for a fresh start in Thailand.
Meanwhile, DS Swain was fully aware that Stephen was a flight risk and received confirmation he was trying to leave the country which led her to make her way to the airport before it was too late.

Unfortunately for Stephen, once at the airport, he was made aware that he had lost his passport by a hostess, meaning he had no other choice but to go back to Coronation Street to retrieve it.
An oblivious Jenny Connor was seen out and about being observed by a furious Stephen as the episode of the Manchester-based drama came to an end.
The action-packed Super Soap Week draws to a close tonight (Friday, October 13, 2023) with Stephen's last ever scenes airing this evening at 8pm - and the serial killer will get the showdown he deserves.
Sadly for Jenny, this means potentially mortal danger for her and Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien).

Will Jenny survive?
This year's Super Soap Week began with a series of flashforwards of Sarah Platt, Carla Connor (Alison King) and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) being interrogated by the police.
All three characters seemed to have something to hide or blame themselves, hinting they could be taking on Stephen themselves... and potentially kill him in an effort to stop him.
