HOLLYOAKS fans have been left devastated after Annabelle Davis - who plays Lacey - left the soap.
The 26-year-old has left the show after just making her debut back in January - fans accuse Hollyoaks of 'wasting talent'
In the story line, Annabelle's character Lacey Lloyd said goodbye amid the murder of her best friend Rayne Royce.
The Hollyoaks team took to Instagram and captioned a fairwell post for the star: "Tonight we have waved goodbye to the wonderful Lacey! 😢.
"That means we have to say goodbye to our beautiful @annabelleldavis too! We have loved seeing you on our screens, and thank you so much for bringing us Lacey!
"We miss you already, and good luck with everything in the future! #Hollyoaks #Goodbye #Farewell #MissYou."

Some fans were left heartbroken with the news. One fan commented: "Annabelle, you have created a superb character in Lacey, good luck in all that awaits in the wings for you, a great actor, I will miss you."
Another fan commented: "Nooooooooooooooo, I love lacy… We need more."
Annabelle rose to fame after she starred in the famous kids' show The Dumping Ground.
She's also well-known for her appearances in the Star Wars sequels.
