Claire Sweeney flashes her bum as she’s left red-faced by Dancing On Ice disaster

CLAIRE Sweeney flashed her bum in a hugely embarrassing mishap during Dancing on Ice training.

The Brookside star turned Coronation Street actress, 52, was accompanying none other than Great Britain Olympic champs Torvill and Dean during the red-faced moment on her first day of practise.

Claire - who was previously revealed as part of the 2024 ITV show line-up - took to her Instagram page to document her wardrobe mishap suffered while mid-skate.

She captured a snap of her skintight blue leggings from the rear - where a the seam had burst open, leaving a visible hole showing her bum.

The embarrassed soap star confessed in her caption: "My first day on the ice!!

"I aas skating with Torvill and Dean, I had a fall but got back up and carried on skating with them!

"Made up with myself that I carried on….. afterwards I realised I’d been skating around with my bum hanging out….!

"Was buzzing to be with Torvill and Dean, then back down to earth with a bang, literally!"

One fan was quick to comment: "LOL," as another put: "EPIC Peep show."

A third wrote: "Hello cheeky."

One then added: "Lovely look Claire."

Meanwhile, the actress was the show's second signing after a reveal in The Sun.

Liverpool actress Claire will be taking to the ice in January 2024, following boxing legend Ricky Hatton's reveal.

Earlier this year she joined the cast of Coronation Street as Cassandra Plummer who is Tyrone Dobbs' biological mum.

Claire said: "I'm nervous and excited about doing it."

Quizzed on her previous dance experience, she said: "How does dancing prepare you for skating? It's totally different.

"It's more about the mind and conquering the fear. You can make nice shapes with your arms and stuff like that but it's about getting over the fear."

Claire's been wearing in her ice boots around the house - much to the bemusement of her nine-year-old son.

But she's yet to step on the ice for any rehearsals.

"The headbanger does terrify me," she admitted.

"I'm looking forward to the makeover. I heard the hair and make-up team are fantastic.

"Having the make-under as Cassie on Corrie then a make-over on the weekend will be really nice."
