Inside BBC’s new Moulin Rouge series so raunchy viewers are slapped with nudity warning
THE BBC's new Moulin Rouge series has been hit with a nudity warning because it features so much flesh-flashing.
The show is based on the legendary cabaret club, and features footage of topless dancers in action.
Moulin Rouge: Yes We Can-Can is a brand new BBC Two series that gives viewers all-access to what goes on in this iconic venue.
But because of the level of nudity, the BBC have issued a warning before watching.
It reads: "Contains some nudity."
One of the most popular sights in the French city is the Moulin Rouge, but British performers are what give the cabaret club its life.
Many girls from the UK have leaped at the chance to perform in the show.
Artistic director Janet, a former dancer from Leeds who performed on the Moulin Rouge stage is in charge of recruiting the dancers.
After losing workers due to the Covid-19 outbreak, she attempts to find new talent for the club.
The show follows Janet back to the UK, where she holds auditions in Leeds, and she reveals what she looks for in the dancers.

Janet said: "I know exactly what I need, I always know what I need."
"The dancers need to have the height with preferably legs out of proportion. This is because it makes the can-can kicks more spectacular."
"You need to be a classically trained ballet dancer to do the can can, it’s all about strength, exuberance and energy," she added.
Moulin Rouge: Yes We Can-Can! is on Wednesday at 10pm on BBC Two.
