The pair spoke to the likes of actors Rachel Shenton and Nicholas Ralph from the movie All Creatures Great and Small and US singer, Madison Beer.

However after the show, Alex Jones, 46 took to Instagram to tell fans that she was "struck by a migraine" while filming the programme.

She penned to her 352 k followers along with a snap of them on the iconic green sofa: "Thanks Lauren Laverne for being my wingman."

The One Show legend admitted that she "struggled" to "get a sentence out" and applauded her co-star for taking over.

The star added: "The migraine of all migraines struck today and this lady steered the ship while I desperately tried to get a sentence out."

It seems that the presenter got the horrible migraine while interviewing actors, Rachel Shenton and Nicholas Ralph about their programme All Creatures Great and Small.

Alex question the performers on what pets their characters would like and Rachel said a "free range" rabbit.

Rachel then explained that she only wanted one rabbit in response to Alex's baffling remark that she might have "a few more rabbits in the case if you didn't control the situation."

Alex agreed, looking slightly red-faced and stated she would 'stop' with the questions.

Lauren stepped in to rescue her and explained clearly that Alex had meant, the rabbit might end up breeding with other wild rabbits.

Alex said: "Lauren knows what I'm talking about."
