Love Island feud revealed as Maura Higgins snubs Geordie Shore star – who claims ‘she f***ing hates me’
GEORDIE Shore star Sophie Kasaei has revealed she has secret ‘beef’ with Maura Higgins.
The reality star told how she was left cringing at a recent award's show when the Love Island favourite completely snubbed her and failed to recognise who she was.
Recalling the embarrassing incident, Sophie explained: “When I was at the NTAs this really awkward thing happened to me.
“Maura Higgins was there and I have been a fan of hers, I think she’s f***** beautiful.
“She follows us on Instagram so I thought she must know who I am.”
Sophie continued on the podcast: “So we were just walking down and I go ‘hi Maura, are you alright. Oh my god you look amazing.”

“She went ‘alright’ and I was like ‘are you having a good night?’
“She was like ‘yeah you?’ and I was like this is awkward, so I went ‘are you having a good night though yeah?’
“Anyways, I went to Jordan keep walking, this is really embarrassing. She f***ing” hates us. What is going on?”
Sophie’s boyfriend Jordan, who also appeared on the podcast, revealed that things got even more awkward.

Sophie explained: “We go to the afterparty and Charlotte’s there and Maura is like ‘oh I love Geordie Shore, my cousin loves it, let’s get a photo’.
“So they are getting a photo and I am sat there thinking this is awkward. I was sitting next to her and I had a couple of drinks so I thought ‘you know what I am not having this’.
“I am sick of Charlotte Crosby always being the favourite one. F*** me, I just want to get a photo with Maura.
“I was going please girls lets just get a photo and maura’s looking at me like I’m a weird.”
Jordan added: “Maura’s not got a clue who she is!”
That night Maura ended up having a row with Faye Winter at the bash.
They were seen pointing fingers at each other at the booze-fuelled afterparty, before a pal was forced to intervene to calm things down.
The row was said to be over a pair of shoes, with one source alleging that Faye threw her shoes at Maura earlier on in the night, which prompted an upset reaction from the Irish star.
