SEX Education creator Laurie Nunn has spoken out about a new spin-off series as the popular show came to an emotional end.
The writer of the beloved Netflix flagship series has stated that there are "so many different avenues to explore" when considering a spin-off.
Laurie has teased fans of Sex Education that a possible spin-off storyline could follow the Moordale gang all grown up, 'married and boring'.
Netflix dropped season 4 of Sex Education on September 21, 2023, and with that came the finale of one of the streaming giant's hit shows.
But the chapter doesn't close there for the controversial series.

A prominent season four storyline was whether Otis and Maeve ended up together, but they eventually decided against it.
Laurie has now revealed that she always had a gut feeling that the two wouldn't ever be an item come the final season.
She said: "They're 17, and I think it's really hard if you meet your soulmate when you're 17.
"And I've always sort of imagined that they might get together 10 years down the path when they've matured and grown up a little bit."
Laurie then joked: "That's the spin-off. They're just married and boring."
After 4 seasons of fun, laughter, chaos, craziness and pure entertainment, she ended the show and confirmed that season 5 would not progress.
Laurie explained why she ended the show as she did: "This was not an easy decision to make.
"But as the themes and stories of the new season crystallised, it became clear that this was the right time to graduate."
